Bristol City have unveiled their new crest which sees the permanent return of the robin.
The Championship club are often referred to as ‘The Robins’, but the garden bird has not featured on their crest since 1949.
Following a consultation which gathered thousands of responses, the robin has now made its long-awaited return.
The year ‘1894’ is also printed on the new badge to celebrate 125 years since the club’s original formation as Bristol South End.

The robin features on City’s away kit this season, and following its popularity, the bird will appear on all of the club’s kits from next season onwards.
