Eden Hazard will be handed the no.7 shirt at Real Madrid when his £115million transfer is eventually completed, according to reports.
The Chelsea ace wants the deal wrapped up as soon as possible – as does Bernabeu president Florentino Perez.
However, despite becoming the first major signing of Zinedine Zidane’s second stint in charge, Hazard will not be allowed to wear his beloved number 10, the Sun claim.
The Spanish giants are not willing to risk the threat of disharmony in the squad by taking the shirt off former Totttenham playmaker Luka Modric, who won the Ballon d’Or last year.
Instead, Hazard will have to make do with no. 7, which belonged to superstar Cristiano Ronaldo before he quit for Juventus last summer.
