Marcus Rashford has been passed fit for Manchester United’s Champions League match against Barcelona as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has handed him a place in the starting XI.


Scott McTominay, 22, has also been given a surprise place in the United line-up with Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera not in the squad.

United boss Solskjaer has named a defensive team with the likes of Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot all being given the nod.


As for Barcelona, they’ve named a star-studded line-up including captain Lionel Messi and ex-Liverpool duo Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho.
