In all honesty this season’s Premier League relegation battle has been nowhere near as dramatic as previous years.
Two of the three spots in the drop have been confirmed with Huddersfield and Fulham to play Championship football in the 2019/20 season.
And 18th-placed Cardiff are now just two points adrift of safety with just four games left, after their 2-0 win over relegation rivals Brighton & Hove Albion.
Meanwhile, fellow contenders for the drop Southampton and Newcastle claimed wins over Wolves and Leicester respectively to help them take a giant step towards Premier League safety.
So ahead of the six-pointer between Brighton and Cardiff we’ve had a look at the respective run-ins for the two teams as well as Southampton who are not completely out the woods yet.
