A Norwegian TV station reported Ole Gunner Solskjaer̢۪s appointment to Manchester United with a brilliant Hobbit-inspired parody video.
Solskjaer was confirmed as permanent boss on Thursday after overseeing a remarkable turnaround with the Red Devils.
He put pen to paper on a three-year deal to succeed Jose Mourinho after initially being installed as the caretaker boss until the end of the season.
Solskjaer was under contract with Molde when he took over as interim manager and the Norwegian club were expecting him to return.
His run of 14 wins and two draws in 19 games, though, saw the 46-year-old become favourite to be appointed on a permanent basis.
